xpsycle uses the xpm format, for loading icons. Note : xpm format supports only 1 bit monochrome transparency mask. Please consider, while creating a new great, in its beauty never seen somewhere else in the galaxy, new icon, that png supports up to 8 bit alpha blending, but xpm only 1 bit. Thus, due to the loss of transparency information, an 8bit alpha icon theme, converted to 1 bit monochrome, might look slightly "trahsed".
